Situated in a former Benedictine Abbey and surrounded by the Scottish hills, you can enjoy the beautiful countryside, soak up Scotland's unique history and culture, play tennis, relax in the indoor swimming pool and sauna.

The Sacristy is a two-bedroom duplex. It is the only property on site with a private outdoor terrace that directly looks to the shore of Loch Ness. The property has recently undergone a total refurbishment to reflect its tranquil and romantic setting. It is equipped with everything you need to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as you expect. It sleeps a maximum of 4 people.

The Sacristy is located at The Highland Club in Fort Augustus on the southern tip of Loch Ness. The village is situated mid-way between Inverness to the north-east and Fort William to the south west. Fort Augustus is situated on the historic 60 mile long Caledonian Canal which runs coast-to-coast across the Highlands.

Fort Augustus offers fantastic cycling and walking, including the Great Glen Way, as well as a bounty of historic and cultural experiences. It is indeed the gateway to the Highlands and Islands.

The Highland Club leisure facilities include an an indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym, an outdoor tennis court, football and children's play area, snooker, Club Room and 20 acres of private grounds.

The area is steeped in Scottish History including Urquhart Castle, Culloden, Fort George.

You can cruise Loch Ness, drive across the Cairngorms to Balmoral, or head out to the Isles of Mull, Skye and further north to the Orkneys. Or take a Scottish Whisky Trail.

This is a beautiful place to stay, very comfortable, all extras provided. We had a lovely view of Loch Ness, with some bunnies and very tame ducks resident on the lawn!
